Pumpkin Almond Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Homemade Pumpkin Puree:
    Preheat oven to 350 °F.
    Cut small pie pumpkins in half and remove seeds. Place pumpkin halves on a large baking sheet, skin side down; brush with melted butter mixed with canola oil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, cool, peel and puree in a food processor.

  2. Smoothie:
    Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Makes one 12 oz smoothie.
